DraftKings Breakdown

There are 9 games on tonight's board. I'll walk through each game and give you my thoughts for each. Remember to buy my Core Plays to get up to the last minute core plays for tonights slate. Let's begin...

Toronto at Boston (-2.5), O/U 215

Raptors:

  • Gasol (5,300) coming off an awful night as chalk in what has been a good matchup for bigs in the past
  • Van Fleet at (5,700) still a little too cheap for expected usage
  • Lowry has seen a usage bump at (7,000), and he’s getting Kemba defense.
  • Pascal (8,100) should be in your player pool he’s too cheap

Celtics:

  • Daniel Theis and Robert Williams are going to be important construction pieces on this
Slate both at (3,200) with Kanter being out
  • Jaylen Brown (5,100) and Kemba Walker (7,800) are both coming off relatively bad games so there is leverage there would prefer Walker to Brown.

Minnesota (-5) at Charlotte, O/U 228

Timberwolves:

  • Karl Anthony-Towns (10,800) is a usage monster in a tight five-man rotation
  • Treveon Graham (3,200) if he starts again and Robert Covington (5,700) are tournament options

Hornets:

  • Dwayne Bacon and PJ Washington are in play on Draftkings again, on Fan Duel they are priced up.
  • Miles Bridges should be in a bounce-back spot especially if he sees Andrew Wiggins Defense

New York at Brooklyn (-8.5), O/U 227.5

Knicks:

  • Nets are a great matchup for bigs we just really can’t trust these Fizdale rotations and Mitchell Robinson possibly back. If Robinson sits Julius Randle (8,000) is a better play and game stacking in tournaments is a slightly better option.
  • Elfrid Payton saw some good minutes in the second half if he starts he’s an ok play…
  • RJ Barret (5,900) is the only guard outside of Payton I would play for the Knicks.

Nets:

  • Kyrie Irving is a strong option at 9k and makes for a great game stack with a Knicks bigs if Robinson sits.
  • Caris Levert (6,500) Jarre Allen (5,700) and Joe Harris (4,700) are other Nets I would consider in a game stack-based off of how tight the nets rotations were in game 1.

Chicago (-1.5) at Memphis O/U 222.5

Bulls:

  • Coby White (4,500) looks like a  strong value option he played 27 minutes game one and outplayed Satoransky.
  • Lauri Markkanen (8,000) is coming off a monster game but I don’t love the price matchup or the chase. It should be noted that the Bulls played at a  much higher rate the other night in terms of pace. If this pace continues 8k for Marrkanen maybe too cheap, with a 33.7% usage rate, but it’s game two so we don’t know if it will continue.
  • I  would prefer Zack Lavine (7,400) to Markkanen

Grizzlies:

  • Memphis played extremely slow
  • Jae Crowder played over (4,800) is okay for value but i don’t love it

Dallas at New Orleans (-2.5) O/U 228

Mavericks:

  • Luka Doncic (9,200) Love Luka who could of had a great game  the other night if Washington had been able to stay in contention
  • Kristaps Porzingis (7,600) I don’t love it till we see a little more

Pelicans:

  • Brandon Ingram  at (7,100) is in for an extreme usage increase
  • Josh Hart is in play at (3,200) if he continues to get the minutes he’s an interesting pivot off likely Celtics Chalk
  • NOTE!!! Pelicans rotations the other night were brutal, be careful rostering till we get more clarity.

Washington at Oklahoma City O/U 219.5

Wizards:

  • Bradley Beal is going to see massive usage with John Wall off the floor at (8,600)
  • Davis Bertans (3,300)  played 29 minutes could be a pivot off  of Boston chalk but I don’t love it
  • Ish Smith is ok for value at (4,900) but he is not my favorite play

Thunder:

  • The Thunder are in a fantastic spot versus a Washington team that plays no defense
  • Danillo Gallinari is in a GREAT spot at (7,100)
  • Chris Paul at (7,200) is another strong play
  • Dennis Schroder is in a good spot at (4,800) but its always tough fr me to press the button
  • Issue with all these OKC guys is if Washington can keep it close

Phoenix at Denver (-12) O/U 221

Suns:

  • Deandre Ayton now suspended either Baynes or Kaminsky will see more minutes in a bad matchup versus Jokic, would rather Celtics bigs or other value.
  • Ricky Rubio should is great value at (5,600) maybe sees a usage uptick with no Ayton

Nuggets:

  • Jokic (9,400) is wayyyyyyy to cheap there is obviously blow out risk
  • Jamal Murray gets Rubio defense at 6,300
  • Paul Milsap is interesting as a last guy depending on ownership will likely be low owned

Portland (-2.5) at Sacramento O/U 226.5

Trail Blazers:

  • Hassan Whiteside saw some extremely strong minutes at (7,200)
  • Damian Lillard's price dropped on Draftkings he's always fine for tournaments

Kings:

  • Buddy Hield might not play if he doesn’t there is significant minutes to go around
  • Bogdan Bogdanovich (4,800) is a great play if Hield is out

Utah at Los Angeles (-3) O/U 217.5

Jazz:

  • Donovan Mitchell’s price dropped he’s a strong play at (7,800)
  • Don’t want to pay (8,200) for Gobert

Lakers:

  • Anthony Davis (10,000) Lebron James (9,500) only two Lakers I like not chasing Danny Green
  • Lebron and AD I feel like are extremely interesting for tournaments
  • People are going to see AD versus Gobert and not want to play him and his ceiling is through the  roof
