Bob’s Bets

I never bet on Sundays because at that point lines are extremely efficient. If you are going to sports bet, bet where you have an edge, and there is an edge in attacking virgin lines (opening lines) and line shopping during the week.

Week 7:

Ravens (+4) at Seattle

The Seahawks have been much better on the road this season than at home, which is weird considering the advantage of the 12th man. In terms of DFS it's early in the week, but if Hollywood Brown is out these low-value Ravens receivers guys like Willie Snead, Miles Boykin could be interesting stack options with Lamar Jackson.

Cardinals at the Giants (-3)

The Giants are the pick for me hereits a very winnable game they are getting a lot of guys back including Saquan Barkley. Daniel Jones looks like he has his feet under him. In terms of DFS love Daniel Jones in a pace up spot versus a team that has really struggle versus Quarterbacks. I love pairing him with Saquan and getting that correlation running it back with one of these Cardinals receivers like Christian Kirk or Keeshawn Johnson. I also think the Giants defense could be a great low owned tournament play.

Rams at Falcons (Under 54)

This line has already moved two points since the open, from 52 to 54. I see this game a lot like I saw the Rams 49ers. Let the total keep climbing and buy the under. In terms of DFS, I like going back to the well on Cooper Kupp. Jared Goff is going to be chalky in cash games, but we all know Goff on the road, is like playing Xbox with the controller unplugged, so I doubt I’ll go there in cash.

Chargers at Titans (-2)

If Anthony Lynn is not on the hot seat by now he should be... Coming across country I expect the Chargers to have continued difficulties in Tennesse. Keenan Allen spoke up after the loss to Pittsburgh at home, so I feel as though that squeaky wheel narrative will get greased, and I think running it back with Derrick Henry is an interesting Contrarian game stack in DFS. All of this means nothing if Ryan Tannehill isn't named the starter for the Titans, the only way I make this bet, Mariota is that bad.

Miami at the Bills (+15.5)

I know the Dolphins have been a train-wreck and the Bills have been pretty good especially at home, but if Ryan Fitzpatrick is named the starter I think taking the Dolphins here is a good bet. I just don’t see the Bills being able to cover the fifteen if Fitzpatrick is named the starter. Fitzpatrick does a great job of keeping games close and there is a good bit of revenge narrative here. In terms of DFS, I think John Brown makes for a great tournament play.
